The idea
A quán is the local joint. Every country has one.
In Vietnamese, a quán is the little place one street over: you sit down with people you like, you order too much, and you leave much later than you meant to. Qwan is built for that meal, whatever the kitchen happens to serve.
A royal couscous, one big dish
Semolina in the middle, everyone reaching in. Nobody counts what they took.
Street food, elbow to elbow
Plastic stools, small plates arriving in waves, a round of beers you all lost track of.

A first name is all it takes to join, or nothing at all if you already have an account. Everyone sees the same live table, from their own phone.

Add what you want, tag the big plates as shared, and send it to the kitchen. Nobody has to flag down a waiter.

Settle the bill however you want
Everyone's own share by default, with the dishes in the middle split across the table. Or an even split, or you pick up the whole thing: nobody does the sums at the end of the meal.

A table tent, a coaster or a sticker. That is the entire installation — no terminal to buy, no tablet in the way of the plates.
No account, no app
The camera app is enough. A first name and a colour is all the table ever asks of you.

Every code belongs to one verified restaurant and one table. The name and the photo appear before anything else.

Nobody advances the money

Big dishes are tagged as shared, so the order is built the way the meal will actually be eaten.
Qwan is not a delivery platform. There is no Qwan fleet and no cut taken per order — the restaurant delivers, and the money goes to the restaurant.

Mid-rush and drowning? Pause ordering in one tap. Guests still see the menu, just not the order button.
A flat subscription, never a commission
A flat subscription instead of a percentage of your revenue, and direct payouts through the payment provider you already use. We onboard every restaurant in person before it goes live.
No commission on table service. Delivery and click & collect are charged per order.
